Working as part of an established HR team offering crucial support across the recruitment and administrative functions. The role involves assisting in all aspects of the HR function, ensuring accurate upkeep of the recruitment, and preparing essential documentation such as contracts of employment and recruitment packs for new hires. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating new starter inductions, managing contract amendments, and handling the documentation process for starters, transfers, and leavers. The position involves accurately maintaining HR records, updating job descriptions on the intranet, and offering crucial administrative support, including notetaking during employee relation meetings. As a HR Recruitment Assistant, your main duties will be: Support the group HR department in a broad range of administrative duties Be the first point of contact for all HR-related administration queries and escalate complex queries as necessary Provide administration support covering the entire employee life cycle from onboarding through to the exit interviews, processing employment changes such as probations, pay and role changes Accurately and comprehensively collate information in readiness for payroll reporting Update the payroll software and HR database with new employee and relevant change information, ensuring employee records are kept up to date and supporting documents are saved to employee files Ensure all workflows are actioned and reflected in the HR database, payroll software and on payroll reports in a timely fashion Carry out Right to Work checks for new employees and alert a senior team member of any visa queries Manage reference requests of various natures Produce simple reports and manipulate people data Distribute training and update matrix Process HR related filing/e-filing Driving administrative efficiencies, progress-chasing and ensuring all actions are closed Collate recruitment requirement, arrange adverts, interviews and conduct new starter induction when required Key HR Recruitment Assistant attributes and experience required: Strong, demonstrable administration experience with an understanding of HR procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines with ease Proficiency in IT, including MS Office with a strong grasp of Excel, is required Able to analyse information quickly and respond as necessary Excellent salary and benefits package : 23 days annual leave raising to 25 after 2 years, plus statutory bank holidays Quarterly attendance bonus Free products Eye Care Scheme In-house schemes and incentives Work based pension scheme Free onsite parking Our client operates a 24-hour site and there is a requirement for flexibility in working hours if night shift need support with note taking, or interviews etc. GDPR Disclaimer: Please appreciate that whilst we review all CVs and applications, due to the high volume that we receive on a regular basis, we only respond to candidates that have been successful with their application. What will your day-to-day activities as a Recruitment Resourcer / Apprentice Recruiter include? The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Technical and Engineering recruitment by sourcing candidates for a variety of positions from Quality Engineers to Maintenance Managers. This will involve sourcing the candidates through advertising and searching through job boards, holding telephone and face to face interviews with candidates, organising interviews, offering jobs, and managing the candidate through those first weeks in a new company. This role will come with training and would suit someone who is confident on the phone, professional, organised, tenacious and who is always looking to go the extra mile'. Once confident with the Resourcing position, further progression into a 360 Recruitment Consultant will be available and will be offered support and training through this transition.This position will be based at our offices in Stourbridge and will be working 8:30am 5pm with a 1hour lunch. The successful candidate will have the option of working a 4-day week (Monday-Thursday of which the salary would be offered on a pro-rota basis) or a 5 day week (Monday-Friday). This role provides the opportunity to start as either a Resourcer, or through the apprenticeship route depending on the candidate's preference/desire for further education.
