Recruitment Officer Salary: £28,000 Location: Hybrid working (Home Working / Corporate Office) - Norwich Job Type: Permanent Hours: 37.25 hours per week Monday to Friday We are looking for a Recruitment Officer to provide comprehensive recruitment support, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from selection through to onboarding. This role involves candidate engagement, interview setup, pre-employment screening, and managing relationships with Hiring Managers across all our services. Day to Day of the role: Oversee the recruitment process, managing applications, interviews, and driving a robust recruitment process. Act as the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries both internally and externally. Lead in considering the most effective recruitment routes for different roles and locations. Manage job boards, applications, and the generic recruitment email inbox. Place adverts on the Company website, external sites, and social media. Conduct salary benchmarking research to ensure competitive rates. Communicate with candidates, send recruitment packs, and invite to interviews. Arrange interview packs for hiring managers and collate paperwork for successful candidates. Update the recruitment database and track vacancies. Assess employees' right to work, apply for references and DBS certification. Oversee Apprenticeship applications and processes. Liaise with recruiting managers to design and implement robust recruitment practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working in Recruitment and leading recruitment processes. Experience in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite. Strong communication and engagement skills. What will your day-to-day activities as a Recruitment Resourcer / Apprentice Recruiter include? The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Technical and Engineering recruitment by sourcing candidates for a variety of positions from Quality Engineers to Maintenance Managers. This will involve sourcing the candidates through advertising and searching through job boards, holding telephone and face to face interviews with candidates, organising interviews, offering jobs, and managing the candidate through those first weeks in a new company. This role will come with training and would suit someone who is confident on the phone, professional, organised, tenacious and who is always looking to go the extra mile'. Once confident with the Resourcing position, further progression into a 360 Recruitment Consultant will be available and will be offered support and training through this transition.This position will be based at our offices in Stourbridge and will be working 8:30am 5pm with a 1hour lunch.
