HR Recruitment Officer Location: Cross site Salary Grade: £30,000-£40,000pa Job Type: Full-time My client is seeking a HR Officer with a focus on Recruitment to lead the recruitment and selection processes. This role is pivotal in developing a recruitment strategy that drives solutions, builds talent networks, and improves processes to attract potential staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our recruitment web pages, building our recruitment microsite, and leveraging social media to attract candidates. Day to Day of the Role: Lead the recruitment and selection for all posts, ensuring authorisations are checked and job profiles are up to date and evaluated. Write and place high-quality recruitment advertisements across various platforms, including social media, to attract a diverse pool of candidates. Provide proactive advice and guidance to managers on the recruitment process and offer training on the use of online recruitment resources. Arrange and participate in interviews and assessment centres, supporting the People Shared Service team and ensuring relevant exercises and tests are in place. Manage recruitment open events and campaigns, attending job fairs to promote vacancies. Research and implement new sourcing solutions, review advertising channels, and support the development of the onboarding process. Maintain the recruitment microsite and establish social media as a platform for attracting candidates. Build internal and external talent networks to support succession planning. Analyse recruitment data, produce reports, and monitor KPIs, providing feedback to the Group Director of People. Work with new recruits to obtain feedback on recruitment, onboarding, induction, and probation processes to inform improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Successful experience in staff recruitment within an organisation. Experience with negotiating fees and discounts. Proficient in using databases, Applicant Tracking Systems, social media, and online recruitment tools. Knowledge of EDII and its application in recruitment and selection. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and analyse data. What will your day-to-day activities as a Recruitment Resourcer / Apprentice Recruiter include? The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Technical and Engineering recruitment by sourcing candidates for a variety of positions from Quality Engineers to Maintenance Managers. This will involve sourcing the candidates through advertising and searching through job boards, holding telephone and face to face interviews with candidates, organising interviews, offering jobs, and managing the candidate through those first weeks in a new company. This role will come with training and would suit someone who is confident on the phone, professional, organised, tenacious and who is always looking to go the extra mile'. Once confident with the Resourcing position, further progression into a 360 Recruitment Consultant will be available and will be offered support and training through this transition.This position will be based at our offices in Stourbridge and will be working 8:30am 5pm with a 1hour lunch. The successful candidate will have the option of working a 4-day week (Monday-Thursday of which the salary would be offered on a pro-rota basis) or a 5 day week (Monday-Friday). This role provides the opportunity to start as either a Resourcer, or through the apprenticeship route depending on the candidate's preference/desire for further education.
