Pertemps Swindon, have gone from strength to strength and due to their continued success are looking to take on a recruitment consultant specialising in Technical and Engineering (non IT). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and placing well qualified candidates into temporary and/or permanent positions within various engineering and manufacturing sectors. Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be building strong relationships with both our clients and candidates. You will also need to be detail orientated with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities to ensure excellent customer service and ultimately a seamless recruitment process. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the technical and engineering sector. Understand clients' hiring needs, company culture, and strategic goals to provide tailored recruitment solutions. Proactively source, identify, and attract high-calibre candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Conduct thorough pre-screening calls and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Create job descriptions and adverts to inform potential candidates of opportunities. Visit client sites to gain insights into how their business works. Requirements: A full UK driving licence is required. Proven experience in a sales or customer centric role preferably within an office or professional services environment. Or a background within the Engineering sector with a passion and drive to sales. Excellent professional telephone manner when speaking to stakeholders at various levels. Commercial awareness and knowledge of local businesses is advantageous Communication and interpersonal skills. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets. Ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
