Your new company A reputable and fast-growing business based in Preston, who are looking to recruit a newly created Accounts Payable Clerk/Purchase Ledger to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis offering a stable and close-knit team with long-term security. The company would like you to take control of the Accounts Payable function where you will be responsible for processing and paying invoices, completing 3-way matching of purchase orders & goods receipts, for both stock and expense purchases and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your new role The responsibilities included:- Responsible for processing purchase invoices requiring manual approval rather than a 3-way match. Seeking the approval and ensuring that the invoices are coded to the correct nominal code and cost centre. - Maintaining and reviewing the payment requests spreadsheet accurately - Identifying and resolving invoice queries - Monthly monitoring of the outstanding parked / unallocated / open invoices on SAP - Producing vendor statement reconciliations and resolving statement queries - Liaising with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues. - Liaising with vendors, processing delivery notes and reconciling statements. - You will assist on payment runs and help out with your colleagues' day to day-to-day. What you'll need to succeed You will have recent purchase ledger experience and be confident in maintaining daily invoice processing routines without much supervision. With strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise your work, you offer a friendly and team-orientated manner with a positive approach. Our well established client is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their busy family department their Lancashire office. The firm is seeking a specialist family solicitor 5 years PQE to work with the Managing Partner and Head of Family department. You will inherit an ongoing good quality full caseload of mostly finances on divorce/separation and some private law Children Act work. You are preferably already a /Resolution Accredited specialist in Finances on Divorce and Private Law Children work. The Head of Family and the retiring partner enjoy a very longstanding good reputation and benefit from repeat clients and recommendations. They do not undertake publicly funded work and have not done so for over 20years. You will be commercially aware as to billing/recovery/targets and used to working to deadlines and targets. Also able and willing to engage in marketing events and requirements organised by the Business Development Manager. They do not have a formal WFH policy and the role is office based although being able to WFH on occasion is not an issue. Familiar with CAFCASS requirements and reporting; 11. Urgent applications inclusing spend time with, live with, specific issue/prohibited steps 12.
