Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer/Joiner Location: West Midlands My client provides hard facilities management, repair, planned maintenance, mechanical and electrical, passive fire protection and statutory compliance services, as a company they are a trusted partner to organisations operating in the private and public sector. Due to company expansion and growth, they are now looking to employ multi skilled engineers with a joinery bias to help them to start bringing our current sub-contracted works in house. Job Overview: You will be joining a team supporting the company's operational delivery of maintenance & repair services across our expanding client base. The successful candidates will be supported to develop within the company and form part of a succession plan built around internal promotions and opportunities as the company grows. The role will involve reactive maintenance and planned project works, working within care homes, housing association properties and commercial office buildings throughout the UK and will be given a company van to carry out these works. Managing allocated works via their integrated cloud-based work management system. The company has been built on an ethos of openness and honesty around a team of employees who are passionate about the company, it's development and the services they deliver. The ideal candidate will have joinery or plumbing as a core skill along with other secondary skills such as patch plastering, tiling, decorating, basic/minor plumbing etc. Primary Responsibilities: Reactive maintenance incl. general joinery, patch repairs & decoration First and Second Fix joinery Door Fitting and architrave Kitchen Fitting(desirable) Studwork Walls Redecoration works And all other general joinery works. Skills & Experience Required: Full drivers license essential Valid CSCS desirable Own tools required Taking care of company tools and vehicles Have good communication & interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and directors Use initiative, be pro-active & self-motivated Be willing and capable to work alone and part of a team Have a positive commitment to the vision and values of the business Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £30,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Overtime Experience: Joinery: 3 years (preferred) Carpentry: 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: CSCS (preferred) Driving Licence (preferred)
