You will ideally have strong technical experience working in in a high reliability industry with experience working on rail and train equipment beneficial. The position involves UK-wide travel and potential international travel to different sites. Day-to-day of the role: Travel throughout the UK to work on rail systems and equipment, with potential occasional international travel. Interpret technical documentation and adhere to technical specifications and standards. Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong customer relationships. Work effectively within a team environment as well as independently. Liaise with other departments, locations, and customers to ensure cohesive operations. Carry out repair, overhaul, and modifications of systems at customer sites. Ensure all health and safety and environmental procedures are followed at all times. Maintain a high standard of work in line with company quality standards and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' recent practical experience in a similar role within the rail or a comparable industry. Strong background in working with electro-mechanical equipment. Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow strict specifications and standards. Highly customer-focused with excellent communication skills. Comfortable working both in a team and independently. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
