The correct candidate will be trained in HACCP & BRC Audits, have good knowledge of QMS and will have experience working within Technical or Compliance within the Food & FMCG industry. Job Title: Technical Manager - Beverage Location: Tiverton Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum Immediate Start Some Key Responsibilities: Complete technical aspects of product development for all products produced at Tiverton. Primary contact for BRC and Retailer Audits and other second and third-party audits/visits. Be aware of retailer website alerts and implications for the Tiverton site and ensure changes in policies are notified to rest of the site management team. Check appropriate product specifications, and artworks to ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU legislation, guidance, and codes of practice. Conducting internal audits against BRC GS Food standard and writing up reports before sending any non-conformances to the relevant head of department Experience required: Experience of working within Food Manufacturing Technical or Compliance Team. HACCP systems Quality Management Systems. Experience of auditing and dealing with auditors in particular BRC/GFSI Desired experience of SAP systems Desired experience of managing people.
