Senior Process Engineer / Near Worthing / Up to £50,000 per annum Join our client's dynamic team at the forefront of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within the Performance Products division. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects across various industries, delivering world-class products globally. As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing processes for current and future programs. You'll support processes and procedures associated with assembly from concept to series production. Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing processes. Develop and implement manufacturing process documentation. Support specification and design of equipment layouts and material flows. Requisitioning of new and modified tooling and equipment required for assembly. Support production team during industrialisation phases to improve quality and efficiency. Support prototype builds and development of assembly work standards. Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to meet targets. Senior Process Engineer Skills Proven work experience in NPI Process Engineering or similar role, preferably in the automotive sector but other manufacturing sectors considered Hands-on experience of lean manufacturing. Understanding of relevant manufacturing methods and detailed drawing dimensioning/GD&T. Design & CAD experience for tooling & fixtures, virtual builds, factory layouts (2D/3D), and assembly equipment. Knowledge in manufacturing processes and documentation including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Capability studies (gauge R&R), and equipment handover. Excellent problem-solving skills (8D). Knowledge of automotive technology and product development in powertrain/propulsion systems is ideal but not essential Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with Supplier Quality Assurance experience to contribute to our dynamic manufacturing and consultancy environment. As an NPI Parts/Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure the quality of purchase parts from concept to series production for the suppliers and projects you are assigned. This role will involve a lot of Europe and UK travel, so candidates must be willing to travel worldwide. SQA Engineer Responsibilities Auditing suppliers and managing Supplier Quality Assurance activities within the supply chain. Generating inspection documents, leading proactive & reactive supplier improvement activities. Travelling across Europe and UK to audit suppliers Collaborating closely with procurement, design, and system engineers. Actively participating in continuous improvement by developing new quality-focused processes. SQA Engineer Experience Experience with APQP/PPAP. Understanding of manufacturing processes and measurement techniques.
