Job Opportunity: Fabric Manager Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Key Skills: Fabric / Management / Engineering / Maintenance / IOSH Company Overview: Our Client is seeking a dedicated Fabric Manager to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. Fabric Manager Role Summary: As the Fabric Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with industry standards within the contract. Your role will involve providing guidance and support to both client and engineering teams to ensure efficient customer service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day Planned Preventative/Reactive Maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance of the estate. Liaise effectively with clients and schools within the contract to provide clear communication and support. Oversee the management of permanent, temporary, and contract engineering staff. Control Fabric maintenance operations across the contract, reporting on service management in line with contract terms. Ensure all jobs are managed within the contract budget and provide technical support for extra works / quotations. Ensure technical elements of the contract meet client requirements and manage sub-contractors effectively. Maintain a consistent level of service delivery and adapt management strategies to changing circumstances. Provide general support and advice on Fabric issues, staying updated on legislation and regulations. Implement changes in Fabric legislation and regulations at the account level as required. Manage out-of-hours cover for Stoke Schools in accordance with the roster. Conduct toolbox talks, site visits, van checks, audits, and site safety inspections. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Utilize knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems. Familiarity with CAFM (Maximo) systems. Be available for flexible working hours and respond effectively to pressure situations.
