The Quality Engineer will lead and manage quality improvement projects within the Engineering & Manufacturing department. This role requires a team member with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing product quality within the business. Client Details The business are a family run manufacturer based across 5 sites in Wales with this role sitting in Corwen. They have over 60 years of expertise and a leading manufacturer within their sector. Description As the Quality Engineer you will be working closely with all other business functions you will be responsible for ensuring preventative quality measures are in implemented, conducting audits, leading investigations, complex quality issues and support the other functions in resolving their quality issues. Adopt a hands on approach to Quality liaising closely with each department. Responsible to complete preventative quality measures. Responsible for planning the quality activities for successful new product introduction. Provide expert support to permanently resolve any reactive quality issues and drive through to permanent resolution. Conduct quality audits both internally and externally, ensure that resulting action plans are completed to satisfactorily resolve all identified non-conformities. Responsible to maintain effective KPI's to accurately measure quality and drive improvement. Provide expert coaching and guidance on quality topics to other business functions. Profile A successful Quality Engineer should have: Demonstrable experience of completing the quality function within a relevant manufacturing sector A hands on approach to quality The ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers to resolve any quality issues A detailed understanding of quality tools and processes, with a strong ability to record and report data analysis An excellent understanding of ISO 9001 or other similar QMS Experience of driving continuous improvement A recognised qualification or degree in a technical subject would be advantageous Job Offer Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 £40,000 - £45,000 33 days holiday per year Competitive benefits package
