Quality Assurance Officer Location: Camberley Salary: £28,000-£32,000 Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm My client who are an FMCG food related company are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant their fast growing team.The Quality Assurance Assistant will assist the head of Technical & Health & Safety, conduct Goods-In quality inspections, internal audits, specification management, equipment calibration maintenance, supplier monitoring, maintaining supplier certification, assist in testing plans and maintenance of customer portals. Daily Duties Co-ordinate internal audits including regular hygiene audits, glass audits and housekeeping / GMP checks. Issue corrective actions (internal) and ensure non-conformances are closed out (internal & external if suppliers) Supplier accreditation is up to date and does not lapse. Assist the Head of Technical & Health and Safety in specification updates and maintenance. Assist in traceability exercises and investigations. Participate in quality management system reviews. Assist in document control of the QMS. Ensure all documents issued are properly authorised. Inspect product arrival at Goods-In. Inspect returned stock if the situation requires so. Ensure equipment is calibrated and calibration certification is up to date. Assist in developing testing and maintaining testing plans. Assist in route cause analysis for non-conformances and quality raised quality issues. Ensure suitable product traceability records are maintained throughout the supply chain and assist in maintaining a product withdrawal/recall system. Assist the Head of Technical & Health and Safety when 3rd party audits are conducted at the business premises. Monitor customer complaints, assist in trending, and conduct complaint investigations. Respond to customers when dealing with quality complaints. Experience and Qualifications Maths GCSE Grade 5 and above Food Hygiene & Safety intermediate (Desirable) English GCSE Grade 5 and above Any science GCSE grade 4 and above Knowledge of HACCP level 2 qualified (Desirable) Ability to manage tasks & projects independently. Ability to show initiative and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Proficient at using MS Office toolkit. An accurate and methodical approach with attention to detail.
