Our client, a very high end Jewellery specialist is seeking a Quality Controller and Quality Control Assistant. Reporting to the Senior Quality Control and Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the end-to-end process of Quality Control, Stock Control and supporting the technical aspect of Production Development with a good understanding of Precious Stones. Quality Control, Stock Control and Data Management are included with these roles. Main Responsibilities: Conduct Quality Control of Jewellery - Including High-End Jewellery Maintain daily reports/logs for Quality tracking, identifying improvement opportunities - Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports for Manager. Maintain KPI's with team Work closely with Production, Procurement, Merchandising and Allocation teams to ensure stock delivery process is prioritised and end to end Quality Control & Administration process is conducted in a timely manner Data Control SAP & Maintain daily Excel reports Ability to remain level headed under pressure of tight deadlines and unforeseen circumstances Provide input and resolve issues encountered during Production/Manufacturing or Data input processes Responsible to assist with maintaining Line Lists & Technical Sheet data. The successful candidate must have worked within a Jewellery Production environment, experience of the Jewellery manufacturing process with a strong technical understanding. Must also have Quality Control experience within the High-end Jewellery/Precious Stone industry and be self motivated and logical. Highly organised with excellent communication skills. You must be flexible for this position because you will be working in three different care homes for at least one day a week to support with reception and administration, as well as fill in for sick and annual leave. A Level or equivalent, GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Solid IT background including database management systems, HR databases, time and attendance systems, and moderate Microsoft Office proficiency Experience in reception or administration roles, staff management, and teamwork A dedication to excellent customer service, emphasizing person centered care, kindness toward residents, and professionalism in all interactions.
