Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen - Warranty QA Controller Salary: £30,500 pa Hours: core hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday (7:00 to 16:00) and Friday (07:00 to 13:00). Overtime: required to work additional hours when the workload dictates. The Warranty/QA Controller's role is split into two functions. Decision making and processing of all warranty claims, alongside quality control of parts, including 'Return to Vendor' processes. Thoroughness and attention to detail will be rewarded with tangible results in reducing warranty claims and improving the quality of components being received for production. Warranty/QA Controllerduties and responsibilities: Oversee the web-based warranty claims system. Decide on warranty claims. Monitor safety recalls and action new recalls when required. Process returned Process warranty invoices. Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports. Liaise with suppliers about ongoing quality concerns. Identify and isolate faulty components. Process and chase supplier returns. And many other associated tasks. Warranty/QA Controller skills: Strong, clear, written communication skills Attention to detail. Good understanding of MS-Word and MS-Excel. Willingness to be 'hands-on', handing parts and potentially packing and shipping. Desire to build a level of technical understanding. Confidence to talk to suppliers about quality concerns. Able to travel to make supplier visits. Experience in warranty processing at a dealer level is an advantage.

They are looking for Quality Inspectors to ensure products are manufactured to the correct quality standards. As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that the components produced are of the best quality and correct to customer specifications. You must be prepared to move around the company's three quality areas to build up an all-round knowledge of QC procedures for this position.
