My client is looking for an Shift Production Operator who will be responsible for handling and processing semiconductor materials in the form of a wafer, bar, chip or chip-on-chip carrier.
Full training will be provided to candidates to work in this exciting, technical environment.
Responsibilities
Operating tools to process material through the applicable stage in the manufacturing process according to the standard required in SOP documents, meeting targets for cycle time and quality and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Working as a member of an AIT Operations team to consistently produce items which conform to all quality requirements in accordance with the production plan.
Highlight any anomalies and second close non-conformances where applicable, and proactively liaise with the Team Leader/Engineering to update paper works to reflect build sequence and data capture requirements.
To work in accordance with LDS (local document system) describing methods and procedures.
As a qualified craftsman with several years of relevant experience in electrical manufacturing, the Manufacturing Technician will report to a Team Leader, from whom he receives day to day direction in terms of the tasks carried out (which will include Assembly, Inspection and Test) and the priorities associated with the tasks.

CPS Group are looking for a Technician to join our global client in Kent on an initial 3 - 4 month Outside IR35 contract.
Our client requires the successful candidate to work in office 4 days per week with Friday working from home, this will change to 2 days WFH once up to date with systems etc.
This contract has the potential to extend to 6 months dependant on workload.
