The Social Worker is required to provide a professional fieldworker service to service users and their careers and to manage the needs of adults with learning and physical disabilities.
The main duties of the role include completing Care Act assessments and devising care and support plans, completing reviews, completing Mental Capacity Assessments, chairing Best Interests meetings, working with people with complex social needs and making sure that the people are receiving the support that meets their needs.
Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Provide expert professional and technical advice on Children in Need to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.
