You must have relevant qualifications and broad domestic and commercial experience in their core trade with additional experience and capability to complete tasks outside their core competency. Key responsibilities as the Carpenter Multi will include: Diagnosing and rectifying faults within core and other trade related repair requests Ensuring that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards Responding swiftly to all emergency situations and resolving them efficiently Undertaking all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimizing no-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered Applying applicable Health & Safety rules in all you do, using risk assessments, method statements and PPE when required Being willing to work out of hours, if required, to the requirements of the client and What the company are looking for in their Carpenter Multi: Experience with Fit and Fix Mortice Latch and Latch set, multipoint locks, Door Hanging, Door Lining and Rebated framework. Your new company Hays are working with a client in the Brentford area on their project, on a long term basis. Your new role Ideally, you will have a background in Carpentry, but also knowledge of painting and mixing cement. You will be required to provide your own tools for the work. You will be putting up fencing, basic shuttering, mixing concrete & mortar. Assisting with painting and decorating duties, and filling any gaps/holes. General upkeep of the site and working alongside trades people. What you'll need to succeed You will require a CSCS Card (Green or Blue). Provide Hays with a working reference. Provide your own tools - especially for carpentry based work. What you'll get in return You will be paid for 9 hours per day. £20.60 Per Hour.
