Project Surveyor Location: New Milton, Hampshire Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus car allowance Reed Recruitment (Southampton branch) are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our Clients Construction Team based in New Milton, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple construction projects in accordance with Construction Documentation (CONDOC) and Key Information Prior to Start (KIPS). Responsibilities: Operating responsibility for delivering multiple construction projects in accordance with CONDOC and KIPS, including procurement of resources and compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations, and Health and Safety requirements. Timely and cost-effective procurement, co-ordination and management of sub-contractors, utilities and consultants with evaluation and review of services. Management of information flow to all relevant parties within prescribed timescales using defined company-wide systems, procedures and processes. Knowledge, understanding and implementation of Health and Safety regulations in line with HSE and Company Policy. Production of KIPS, project budgets/specifications/programmes and monitoring projects with respect to cost management and programme to ensure execution of projects in line with CONDOC and KIPS. Leading and participating in project review meetings for evaluating project and budget progress, identifying resolution measures where necessary and taking corrective action. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Surveyor in the construction industry. Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations and compliance requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders including clients, sub-contractors, utilities and consultants. Building Surveyor Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join our team. This role involves providing a comprehensive professional surveying and technical service to diagnose, specify, design, and facilitate a wide range of building repair works and adaptations. You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with statutory and local legislation and meets all departmental key performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects from inception to completion, including programming and supervising contractors to ensure delivery on budget, on time, and to the required quality. Advise on statutory and legislative changes and sustainable technologies to enhance and promote the service. Develop and monitor practices and procedures to ensure a high-quality, customer-focused service. Foster positive and innovative relationships with applicants, residents, contractors, supply chain partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve best value. Evaluate the effectiveness of various contract types, contractors, products, and consultants, making recommendations for improvements. Participate in the arrangement, invitation, and evaluation of tenders to ensure financial and auditory compliance.
