This is an exciting opportunity in a new area within Advisory Services within our Health and Benefits line of business. The Special Project function was developed to support clients beyond the pillars of Medical, Risk and flexible benefits. This would be a key development role in the expansion of Health & Benefits and due to the varied nature would suit someone adaptable with strong interpersonal skills with previous experience in Employee Benefits/Flexible benefits. The type and style of project will vary, and the support you can bring to the project can be tailored to your skill set. The Role: Co-ordinate or Project Manage projects covering multiple internal and client stake holders Perform Data analysis in Excel using formulas and Macros Identify cross sell opportunities and refer them to the relevant WTW teams Support the effective operation of the Special Projects team by sharing knowledge, ideas and solutions Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams within the Health and Benefits line of business and the wider organisation. It is usual for roles to cover Health and benefits, M&A, retirement and communication teams. The Requirement Strong working experience in either flexible benefits/employee benefits Experience of working background in either Health & Benefits, M&A, Retirement or within a HR project role Project management experience would be advantageous. This role has a starting salary of £38,746 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. This was a 24-month fixed term contract / secondment opportunity. About the Role You will be working as part of a dedicated, enthusiastic and supportive team and will be involved in, but not limited to; Working with the AWHP team to coordinate the successful delivery of projects and service improvements Working alongside senior managers to identify and respond to project risks and issues as they emerge Maintaining and developing processes, templates and working methods to maximise efficiency, assurance and compliance Assessing or conducting analysis, presenting results and putting forward recommendations to support decision making Providing general project support where required, as well as supporting the Portfolio Lead, Strategic Director and Assistant Director on ad-hoc activities We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised person with an authoritative and credible approach. You will have excellent communication skills, be ready for a challenge and be able to drive through change. Good analytical skills with an attention to detail are also key for this role, as is the ability to manage priorities effectively. Our ideal candidate will have experience of using project management methodology to define and deliver agreed outcomes. They must be able to build positive working relationships with others. Knowledge and understanding of how local authorities operate and the national adult social care policy agenda would also be beneficial.
