Experience of analysing and interpreting data Advanced Excel skills Power BI Skills Trading Data Analyst Purpose of Role: To provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Trading team. Ensure specific trading activities and projects are delivered to the business on time, working to tight deadlines using Excel spreadsheets and other MS Office applications. Collaborate closely with Buyers both at the Central Office and Regional. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Use Power BI or other internal data software/tools for data analysis. Chase suppliers to secure funding for events, clear outstanding debt, and understand service levels. Manage and communicate commodity tracking with the production of reports to support trading initiatives for cost management. Complete promotion tasks such as key monies check, images check, Shop Windows approval, and promotion handouts. Create new product listings and prices on the internal Desktop' system. Administrative Support: Collate promotional information from suppliers to build the promotional pack for each period. Create reports and collate information for traders. Assist in creating presentations and support with category review information gathering, minute taking, and presentation building. Help traders put together trading terms paperwork. Support with information gathering for product withdrawals and recalls. Essential Candidate Requirements: Good education level, including English and Maths with good grades. Experience in analysing and interpreting data. Experience in prioritising and planning workload, working to deadlines, and within large teams. Previous experience in using, analysing, and interpreting data at a minimum, an understanding of how to do this. Demonstrate ability to analyse complex data and adapt to changing priorities. Proficient in Excel and competent in other technology including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. A candidate who can prioritise and is organised. Willingness to learn and interact with several Traders. Ability to deliver results or outputs in a clear manner, with examples of where they have applied this skill. Desirable: 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment. PURPOSE (a) To build an effective and efficient financial planning and budgeting services for managing monthly, interim and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting and to support the provision of management information. (b) To manage cash flow forecasting working with fees and income team. This is a strategic role that requires the post-holder to develop strong financial planning and conversion strategies that ensure the company ontinues to stand at financially strong position in a challenging economic climate. 2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Specialist Provide high quality strategic financial information with reliable forecasts Conduct short, medium and long term planning for the school with detailed scenario analysis and financial modelling Develop and present timely based management information and report to senior management team Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and reports Prepare interim and annual financial data for budgeting with detailed forecast of financial position and regular engagement and meetings with budget holders Conduct financial viability and sustainability report Provide detailed risk analysis in both short and long term basis To maintain accurate records in accordance with company requirements, ensuring compliance and maintenance of relevant systems. Keep all documentation/records up-to-date and in order.
