Venn Group are currently working with an organisation in Cambridge to recruit a Project Manager. This is a full-time role on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for maintaining a detailed overview of a grant funded projects, working across the team to ensure they are completed on time and to budget. Main responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director and key project leads to stay informed about the objectives and progress of each funded initiative. Offer guidance to the Head of Operations regarding the financial health, expected outcomes, and current status of projects, ensuring alignment with the finance team and standards to meet funding conditions. Engage regularly with project leads to provide Leadership with updated information on each project's progress. Forecast upcoming deliverables and financial requirements, facilitating proactive management of projects to achieve timely and budget-compliant completion. Consult with project leads to suggest corrective actions for any deviations from the set financial plans. Generate both written and oral progress updates for the Leadership Team and prepare formal reports for the Initiative's sponsors. Monitor and document key performance indicators (KPIs), integrating this data into reports for the Leadership Team, sponsors, and governance meetings. Requirements: Proficient in project management and operational oversight within high-pressure environments. Skilled in PMO responsibilities, managing complex projects with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Adept at multitasking, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality. Experienced in utilizing program management software tools to track and report on project milestones and progress.
