Adele Carr Financial recruitment are looking for an organised and experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a busy Engineering company in the Knowsley area of Liverpool. The successful candidate will be required to have a Purchase Ledger specialism but also be able to undertake all aspects of the transactional functions. Duties & Responsibilities: Purchase ledger: Processing high volume of purchase ledger invoices (mainly Innio and Waukesha invoices) Reconciling purchase ledger balances with supplier statements Dealing with queries on a daily basis, liaising with internal and external contacts to resolve invoice queries in a timely manner Housekeeping of supplier ledgers - ensuring payment allocations are complete, contacting suppliers for missing invoices, and filing of invoices Monthly Innio MSA cleardown and reconciliation Accurate and timely processing of weekly payment runs of multi currencies Expenses: Collating, checking and processing of employee expenses; ensuring transactions claimed are in accordance with the company's expenses policy Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel/Office Confident user of vlookups Good knowledge of accounting packages - Microsoft Navision would be advantageous Study support available Benefits Competitive salary Opportunities for hybrid working Supportive and inclusive team Developmental opportunities
