As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in leading various finance improvement projects aimed at enhancing ways of working, improving the control environment, clarifying reporting processes, and boosting the efficiency of our international finance team. You will manage continuous improvement initiatives and System enhancements while collaborating closely with various staekholders across the business. Your responsibilities will also include leading monthly project reviews. Your ability to develop comprehensive project plans that consider both internal and external resourcing needs will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, you will assist in integrating any newly acquired businesses into our existing financial framework. Provide leadership and support to a variety of finance improvement projects driving improvement in ways of working, the overall control environment, clarity of reporting and the efficiency of the international finance team. Manage the Continuous Improvement and project list working closely with various stakeholders across the business. Lead the project reviews on a monthly basis with the finance and wider team. Work across the international finance team on projects that could have an accounting, FP&A, Tax or Treasury focus. Develop project plans including internal and external resourcing needs. Manage project trackers ensuring on time completion of deliverables. Work closely with finance, business and IS teams to deliver business improvement projects effectively within finance & accounting. Assist in the integration of any newly acquired businesses. Undertake adhoc Financial analysis projects as required to provide valuable insights into P&L and Balance Sheet. What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Project Accountant role will bring a wealth of finance experience, will be fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified. You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to operate independently. Your interpersonal skills will be exceptional, enabling you to interact effectively with colleagues both on-site and at other international locations. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Essbase would be advantageous. An adaptive approach is essential in our continuously expanding and changing environment. CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Essbase would be an advantage. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are both required. Capability of operating independently. Your experience in managing finance projects, including the implementation of new systems, will be crucial in this role. With advanced Excel skills, you will be able to develop tools and reporting within finance. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase and Power Bi is also desirable. CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand finance processes. Experience in undertaking process reviews to identify improvements. Ability to provide guidance on best practice. Understanding of finance activities across functions including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, GL and FP&A reporting. Advanced excel skills with ability to develop tools and reporting within finance. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase and Power Bi. Experience in managing finance projects including implementation of new systems.
