C Software Engineer / Developer A hugely exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join a start-up in Cambridge, and transition into the cutting-edge and futuristic area of quantum computing. Working across the stack, we are looking for a software professional proficient in C or Rust, who understands the mechanics of how hardware executes software instructions. This forward-thinking, highly diverse company welcomes applicants requiring part-time working. Location: Cambridge, UK - hybrid working, 3 days in office. Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum. Are you an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer looking for a new role? Baltic Recruitment are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our well established client based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to engineer drawings/specifications. Duties: Experience of setting and programming a CNC Lathe (Faunc Control experience essential) Comfortable working with a variety of inspection equipment including gauges, verniers, micrometers and Bore Micrometres- Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programs- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing Skills: - Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines - Familiarity with logic controllers and their functions - Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines Requirements: - Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role - Strong attention to detail and precision in work - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Pattern: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm Pay rate: £13 - £15ph depending on experience If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
