RESPONSIBILITIES Managing entire projects from concept to completion Liaise with clients and manage / oversee projects on site Communicate with internal departments on site related queries Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget Attend site and client meets Lead the review of standards to ensure compliance with regulatory, government policy changes and Homes England funding and train to the wider team. Procurement Manager Our client, a leading procurement company based on the outskirts of Norwich, are currently seeking an Procurement Manager to work with the Head of Utilities. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week. As the Procurement Manager, you will deliver best value procurement and outstanding service for members across the Energy portfolios and maximise business opportunities. To actively contribute to the business objectives and targets with focus on building strong supply partnerships bringing the highest levels of service and competitive pricing. Duties and Responsibilities To assist the Head of Utilities in leading the Energy team in delivering a seamless end-to-end member journey from procurement, on-boarding and through to management of the supply of Energy products and services, including bill validation and query resolution. To proactively identify new business opportunities for AF, and work towards increasing member commitment and growing volumes. Using your extensive knowledge of the Energy industry, proactively work towards future volume growth budgets to include building new relationships and further enhancing existing supplier relationships. Contribute to business plan and budget forecasting, reporting on performance through monthly board reports and weekly Energy reports. Review, monitor and update forecast against plan as required, providing necessary supporting commentary. Manage and develop the team to exceed business targets and KPI's in line with the business plan. Develop new and existing product areas. Identify efficiencies and savings in day-to-day operation of the team including where electronic and automated procedures will enhance the offering. Ensure knowledge base of the product areas maintain an understanding of any future technical and commercial aspects of relevant markets and any impact these may have on the business. Ensure the team are kept informed of any relevant supplier/product/member information. Create and maintain communication with members, including establishing relationships by calling all relevant new members, contributing towards email and text alerts/newsletters and any other member communication material, to keep them up to date with markets and any relevant product information. Monitor relevant markets. Ensure the Energy processes and procedures are implemented and all business activity is accurately recorded and reported, as necessary. Identify appropriate times to procure additional products and services as the industry requires and communicate this information to the team as required. Effectively communicate and implement procurement strategies deemed suitable for product area. Work closely with other Procurement Managers to identify cross selling opportunities and sharing of expertise. Attend Shows/Events as required by the role.
