You'll oversee the implementation and deployment of various IT projects, including websites, internal software, and major applications like Workday and migration to ZenDesk from legacy systems. Knowledge of migration and integration programmes of work Understanding of the software development life-cycle and databases. Project Officer (12 Months) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Officer to join a leading organisation based in Belfast. This is a Full-Time, Temporary position initially for 12 months. Working hours: Monday Friday: 8.50am 5pm (36.5 hours per week). With an hourly rate of £17.85 per hour. An Access NI Check is required. Closing Date: Friday 10th May Job Role: You will be responsible for contributing and delivering a number of projects to eligible participants for a new funded programme, this is to improve participants with their basic numeracy skills as well as building on and complement existing support programmes. Essential Criteria: Previous experience of managing educational projects and planning, developing, and delivering training events and workshops. Demonstrable experience of analysing data and creating detailed reports. Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent). A degree in numeracy or a degree with a least 40% modules are numeracy/mathematical in nature. Knowledge of issues impacting acquisition of numeracy skills. IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience of delivering events and workshops in numeracy related areas. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Create and co-ordinate the effective delivery of the support activities, to ensure the programme meets its objectives. Plan, organise and deliver a series of interesting, relevant, and engaging activities for the Programme, with assistance from external providers where required: To maximise engagement and to provide appropriate support to enable positive engagement. Undertake a risk assessment of each activity to ensure a safe learning environment. Evaluate each activity and address any further development needs identified. Effectively procure services from external providers. Maintain financial records and monitor spend, to ensure all spend is monitored closely. Manage the team, including any associated temporary staff. Take responsibility for the promotion and marketing of the projects. Work collaboratively with staff. Provide timely reports of activities provided. Evaluate the success of the programme and produce associated reports. To act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders. To maintain effective administration processes and complete returns to as required. To ensure the activities meet the quality assurances thresholds as agreed with line manager. Ensure the programme is inclusive and responsive to the needs of the learners. Act as the point of contact for any safeguarding matters and report direct to line manager. Utilise the extensive IT resources to ensure any materials developed are creative and impactful. Disseminate the programmes outcomes and ensure toolkits are developed and resources can be shared after the project ends. Act as an Ambassador for the business. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as determined by the line manager, consistent with the nature and grade of the post.
