Welder Fabricator Job Role We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our Production Team, based at our workshop in Wilden, Bedfordshire. This is a permanent, full-time position offering good rates of pay working with a market leader. Please note due to location it is essential you can travel, as no public transport is nearby. Our respected client, a leader in the steel plate processing and fabrications, is currently seeking a Welder to join their team. Initially day shift 7:30am-4pm but to meet business needs it may go to shifts. Key Responsibilities: Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements for planning layout and procedures Preparing and operating welding equipment Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements: Proven experience as a welder Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures Experience in using electrical or manual tools Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) Deftness and attention to detail
