Production Operative An exciting opportunity exists for a Production Operative to join our clients team in the Bowburn, Durham area. We are looking for someone who will work as part of the operations team in the factory. They will play a key role in production, storage, cleaning, Health & Safety, and all other tasks as directed by management. This role will involve working to challenging but achievable production targets. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you would: Work in the production area conducting a wide variety of tasks, such as line operation, packing, cleaning, distribution etc. Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to operate machinery you are trained on, complete checks and ensure materials are ready to use. Perform all pre-start safety checks as directed. Report any breakages, damages or defaults of equipment to the Line Supervisor, ensuring all machinery is only used when it is safe. Ensure the product is of the highest standard and report any issues to the Line Supervisor immediately. Cooperate with all company training, asking questions and ensuring you feel satisfied in relation to all aspects of the area and role you are working in. Report any accidents or near missed. Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by your manager/ supervisor. Monday to Friday hours. We are looking for someone who has: Experience of a factory environment (advantageous) Good general high school qualifications Energy, enthusiasm and commitment High level of attention to detail Desire to succeed. Ability to show initiative. Excellent team player skills but is also able to work successfully as an individual Good interpersonal communication skills.
