Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Chester (On site) Duration: 12 Month Contract Rate: £35 / hour (Inside IR35) About the Role: An exciting opportunity awaits a Project Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering (ME) within a leading aerospace company, based in Chester. Joining the Internal Supply & Support (IS&S) ME Team, you'll collaborate closely with shop floor teams to ensure minimal disruption while delivering innovative, value-adding, and robust solutions. As a pivotal team member, you'll lead projects aimed at enabling and enhancing production processes while upholding safety, cost, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct process mapping and requirement definition to support business needs. Oversee analysis, design, development, integration, and technical acceptance for projects. Facilitate crane lifts by developing lifting processes. Ensure project activities adhere to budget, schedule, and resource allocations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define "AS IS" and "TO BE" solutions. Manage project financials including cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and expense management. Generate necessary project documentation following the agreed Governance model. Identify, report, and manage project dependencies and risks. Required Skills: Demonstrated Project Management experience, preferably with LBIP, AGILE, or Planisware. Project Management accreditation would be advantageous. Experience with lifting and handling methods is preferred. Previous exposure to a Production environment is beneficial. Proficiency in stakeholder management and building customer relationships. Ability to analyse and simplify complex topics for stakeholder understanding. Familiarity with tools like Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, and flowcharts would be advantageous.
