Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Production Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring optimal OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), through effective preventative maintenance and corrective actions to reduce equipment down time, in line with the expectations of Operations.
Additionally, providing engineering support to Operations and ensuring continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will join the Process Engineering team, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.
As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the the management and resolution of quality issues within the supplied parts team.
You will ensure the problem landscapes are clearly communicated to the appropriate suppliers and engage with QMT's (Quality Management Parts) and supplier representatives at all levels to steer the problem-resolution process and challenge proposed solutions.
You will follow defined processes to raise Initial Complaint Reports and Supplier 8D landscape requests appropriately.
