We are working with an Mainstream Secondary School in Barnet who are currently looking to recruit an Attendance Officer to start as soon as possible, on a longer term basis.
Days/Nights must be fully flexible, 24 hours per week guaranteed.

Provide high quality social work as part of a multi-professional team, acting, as required, as the lead professional for families caring for adolescents presenting with a range of needs including being victims/perpetrators of child sexual exploitation, young people affected or involved in serious youth violence and group offending, missing from home.
Use the direction, support and guidance of your line manager and the multiprofessional team to effectively manage the range of complexities of risk and ambiguity families present with.
Build the resilience of children, young people and their families by using evidenced based approaches to achieve sustained change.

Weekend 11am to 7pm, all members of staff do sleep in at least once a week, sleep in shift start 12pm closes office at 11 goes sleep and open office 8am next day till 1pm

To undertake statutory intervention where service users are deemed to be at risk, including situations where people may be neglected or abused in accordance with the Inter-Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults.
To undertake assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
This includes promoting a multi-agency approach by developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
The mentoring and supervision to staff within the team ensuring professional standards and best practice.
Ensuring that the responsibility of safeguarding adults at risk is a fundamental element of this job and that the principles are embedded in all procedures, practices, professional advice, decisions and support.
