TEMPORARY - L EGAL SECRETARY - PRIVATE CLIENT BASINGSTOKE Our well-established client is looking for a temporary Legal Secretary to join their Wills, Trusts and Probate Department. The successful candidate will be working as member of a vibrant and growing wills, trusts and probate team, working alongside the senior leadership team and other solicitors. The work is varied and covers a broad range of wills, trusts, LPAs and probate matters. In your role, you will: Assist senior solicitors with the day-to-day management of their files, which may include: Typing correspondence and documents - audio typing experience desirable File opening, giving quotes and sending out quote letters. Arranging and diarising client appointment Scanning, photocopying and filing documents as required. Assisting with client telephone queries Managing email correspondence Assisting with general compliance and file administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have legal secretarial experience gained in a Private Client Department. Our key requirement of a successful candidate is that you are a willing and eager individual who is highly organised with the ability to learn new systems.

Efficiently operate and utilise case management systems to document and organise legal information and updates. Assist with the drafting and proofreading of legal documents and correspondences. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in the public sector Strong knowledge of legal procedures, case management systems, and court processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficient research and analytical abilities to gather and present information accurately. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Contract Details: Ongoing temporary contract with a competitive hourly rate from £16.00 per hour PAYE to £20 per hour Umbrella Conveniently located office, just a 3-minute walk from Royal Albert train station.
