Location: NottinghamContract: PermAbout the role:The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle and Boots own brand.We combine the capability of an external creative and production team, with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house set-up, underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company. The Midweight Designer will support the wider design team in delivering consistent and effective designs and ideation across a variety of media. The incumbent should possess robust experience and design skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, high-level creativity, and the skill and experience to passionately and articulately communicate and present work cross-functionally across the business.This role also requires high-level self-motivation and the ability to work to strict deadlines while under pressure.About the role: You will work closely with our Creative Lead and Lead Designers, helping them design collateral for various needs such as full campaigns, print, digital, in-store, image retouching, new concept development work, etc.Be innovative and work with established brand identities. You will have a lot of responsibility and creative control over your given briefs. Support the design team in delivering against KPIs CPA, speed to asset, and asset quality.Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the beauty market and our brands.Demonstrate a highly creative approach to briefs.Ensure that all creative and artwork meet the brief, are on brand, and produced to the highest standard. What you'll need to have: A degree in Graphic Design or a relevant subject, with a strong portfolio of work in a variety of media, including print and digital design.At least 4 years' experience with dexterity in campaign work, showing examples of print & editorial design, social media concepting, email design, app content and video storyboarding, with the ability to present your work and communicate confidently.Experience working with strategists or strategic work that acts as a springboard for your creative.Professional use of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.Happy to work across multiple brands and project briefs in a dynamic agency environment. Sheet Metal Fabricator Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Salary: DOE Company: A well-established leading signage company. Role: Our client is on the lookout for both light and heavy fabricators! Being an integral member of the team in our fabrication department, you will be required to TIG/MIG weld aluminium, steel, and stainless steel, and fabricate various types and sizes of steelwork including the general fabrication of various sign types. Daily you are expected to, individually perform, and have a high level of performance within the team, to carry out the following duties without compromise and to the best of your ability, being accountable for each aspect of your job. To accept products and inspect for quality prior to any further processing, highlighting any defects to the Team Leader Experience in welding techniques including TIG/ MIG on various materials Coded Welder Overhead Crane Licence Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings Maintain a high level of quality Be time conscious on jobs pushing yourself to meet timings Qualification in sheet metal/fabrication To follow all Health and Safety guidelines and rules, ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times and replaced when necessary Follow company policy and procedures within your department, reporting any non-conformance to management. Attend any training and develop relevant knowledge and skills Requirements: Experience within MIG / TIG welding Demonstrate skills within a fabrication department Vast knowledge of working within the aluminium / sheet metal fabrication industry Signage experience preferable but not essential Experience with 5S and/or Lean manufacturing Positive attitude Courteous Good eye for detail Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook Ability to work in a team.
