ROLE - Field Service Engineer LOCATION - London and the South East About the Company Working direct for a technical service and aftermarket support partner for leading technology brands. Delivering a range of pre-sales and aftermarket technical services, including customer helpdesk and support, field repairs, preventive maintenance, warranty management, workshop repair, inventory, and logistics. Services cover technologies such as printers, customer engagement technology, handheld and mobile devices, security equipment, medical equipment, smart parking meters, and more. About the Role Concept are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Engineer to provide maintenance and installation services to our clients across the Southern Region, although occasional national and international travel will be required. Experience of troubleshooting, fixing and installing Photocopiers, Colour Laser/Inkjet Printers, Production Printers and Digital Presses (Fujifilm, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Sharp, Canon) is essential. You will need excellent customer service and communication skills and an eagerness to learn new and emerging technologies. Role and responsibilities: Office Printers and Photocopiers repairs Production printer installation and maintenance Call progress updating via smart phone. Adherence to service level agreements to all customers Management of supplied tools and parts to 100% accuracy Essential Skills: Experience of fixing MFDs / MFP / Print devices Experience in the office equipment industry Technical skills with a strong electronic and mechanical background Strong IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and to set up scanning functions. The ability to provide first class customer service with previous customer facing experience. Education and experience: Good standard of secondary level education Good level of Microsoft Word and Excel experience Certification relating to Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Ideally have an IT or engineering qualification Attributes required. The ideal candidate will be presentable, approachable and have a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to 'go the extra mile'.
