Requirements: Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, preferably in an educational setting. Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to implement effective strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviours. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of different SEN conditions and the impact they may have on learning and behaviour. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced classroom environment. Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are desirable. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
