Advanced Practitioner - Assessment and Intervention Location: Oldham Salary: Up to £48,474 with a £2,000 retention payment Job Type: Full-time, with hybrid working options We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This role involves managing a caseload of complex and challenging cases and supporting staff through reflective and group supervision. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting a learning culture, sharing good practice, and driving continuous professional development within the service. Day to Day of the Role: Lead and co-work on complex and sensitive cases, ensuring high-quality service delivery and chairing multi-agency meetings as needed. Deliver group supervision and provide additional reflective supervision, particularly to newly qualified social workers. Mentor colleagues, offering advice and guidance to develop their knowledge and decision-making skills. Implement Systemic Practice, developing curiosity, an outcome and impact focus, and relationship-based work with families. Use quality assurance tools to drive improvements for children, motivating staff to develop ambitious goals for practice and impact. Lead practice improvement plans and consistently promote good practice. Review work such as assessments and plans, providing direction to staff to address gaps and improve quality. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of personal information. Assist in work allocation and engage in professional development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a similar role within social work, with a focus on children and families. Ability to manage complex cases and provide effective supervision. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive practice improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
