The rate offered for the role will be £300 - £450 per day umbrella (inside IR35). The successful candidates will work a 5 days week but across a seven-day rota. This team operates a shift basis to provide a service from 8am to 7pm. Shifts are 8 hour long. If will be a requirement to go through CTC vetting so the role wont be an immediate start. They will be seeking a vetting exemption if you hold CTC or SC clearance. JOB PURPOSE There is no greater mission than keeping the public safe. You will help deliver a media service, media strategy, effectively managing proactive and reactive communications of high-profile and often controversial issues in a fast-paced environment. Working across Communication and Engagement to deliver high quality proactive and reactive communications for internal and external channels. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A proven track-record in a busy media operation, including handling multiple, reactive demands across a range of themes and with different audiences. A strong understanding of effective media and channel monitoring, including the use of a range of digital tools to support this. Evidence of delivering high quality, fast-time rebuttal on digital channels and an understanding of how this can shape media narratives. Able to work at pace and under deadline pressure on fast-moving opportunities and challenges, set out effective handling and oversee consistent messaging.? Strong co-ordination skills, sharing and escalating opportunities and challenges where appropriate and liaising with operational colleagues in a large and complex organisation.? Experience of leading and driving proactive media planning and creative media campaigns across a wide portfolio.?Experience of planning and executing integrated communications plans with multiple stakeholders. A practical understanding of using data and insight to drive communications and of the importance of targeting audiences as well as evaluation.
