Job Title: Complaints & Claims Handler (9 month FTC) Location: Nottingham City Centre (fully office based) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience We are currently recruiting on behalf of a financial organisation based in Nottingham city Centre. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Complaints and Claims handler to join our clients office based in Nottingham on a 9 month fixed term contract. Your role will include handling regulated customer complaints, queries, Section 75 claims, and dissatisfactions. You will be required to investigate, evaluate, and decide on resolutions in line with business and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include: Record, handle, and own regulated complaint cases and claims, ensuring timely responses. Maintain accurate complaint records and categorise them according to business and FCA standards. Resolve complaints using finance sector knowledge and regulations. Identify and escalate concerns within the company's processes. Liaise with customers, retailers, and third parties via various channels. Proactively manage cases, setting clear expectations. Write letters to customers confirming complaint outcomes. Represent the team in projects as required. Develop networks throughout the company to gather information and provide expert advice. Ensure fair treatment of customers and compliance with standards. Report on complaint drivers and support feedback processes. Key Skills: Experience in handling complaints and claims, ideally within financial services Knowledge of finance sector regulations (desirable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in letter writing Can demonstrate ability to investigate complaints and claims to ensure positive customer outcomes.
