As a Policy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development of creative, proportionate, and evidence-based policies, processes, and guidance that form the backbone of the policy program.
Working collaboratively with various teams, both internal and external stakeholders, you will be at the forefront of executing our business plan and corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive robust, evidence-based policy proposals and positions.
As the Policy Manager, you will manage a team that analyses and advises current clients, prospective clients, and internal teams on the risks and opportunities of upcoming European and national policy changes.
In this role, you will assess the implications of energy and carbon policies in Europe and be responsible for leading policy-related client engagements, serving as a subject matter expert at industry events, and handling all aspects of people management of the team.
To be successful in this role you will need, 5 years' experience working in a regulatory environment, good knowledge of the renewable energy and utility market industry, the ability to translate complex policies to clients, and have 1 years' experience of managing or coaching a team.

To lead the MDU's public policy work, representing the organisation and its members' interests to governments, legislators, NHS bodies, regulators and other stakeholders whilst building and nurturing external networks via the design and delivery of a public affairs plan.
Key Accountabilities
Develop official MDU public policy by responding to a variety of public consultation exercises and inquiries.
The role requires strong line management of a panel of managing agents.
The Freehold Property Manager is responsible for the oversight and protection of the assets of the Freeholder, namely the residential blocks, including ensuring the Landlord's income streams are protected, and the Landlord is protected from risk.
This is achieved by oversight and management of the managing agents that are contractually appointed to manage the assets in all respects, including, but not limited to, operational oversight, financial management and oversight, H&S, compliance, building safety mitigation and remediation, major works and client care.
