What You Can Expect Work Type - 12-month fixed term contract Location -Watford (2 day per week) Industry - Gambling Salary - £30k - £40k plus benefits Main Responsibilities as a PMO Support Partner Assist in ensuring project management practices, processes and standards are followed in line with project & programme governance. Apply industry best practice to develop the company's Centre of Excellence for Project, Programme and Portfolio Management Use frameworks to manage project and programme risk & issue mitigations. Ensure adherence and compliance to established processes, procedures, governance, and controls. Meeting preparation for Exec/Steering group meetings including minute and action taking. Provide support for training to orientate Programme teams to the ways of working of the PMO. Support Project/Programme portfolios to enable the delivery of projects to time, budget and quality objectives. Experience & Skills Required 2 years of experience in a project support role Knowledge of end to end project management/support Knowledge of Project Planning Experience handling risks and issues within projects Prince 2 or PMP Certification (desirable) What's in it For You? From luxurious Pearl pieces to their best-selling initial pendants in solid Gold. They are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis ( 2 days a week). This is a new position within our company, designed to support our growing financial management needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up a new accounts system (Sage, Xero or QuickBooks), processing invoices, and conducting financial forecasting to aid in strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: System Setup: Lead the setup and implementation of a new accounting system (Sage, Xero or QuickBooks). Invoice Processing: Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely payment, and record-keeping. Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support business planning and decision-making. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analysing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights and support. Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as required, offering financial expertise. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field. Experience working in e-commerce is essential. Professional accounting qualification AAt is desirable. Proven experience in financial management within e-commerce. Proficiency in Sage, Xero or QuickBooks is essential. Strong analytical skills and experience with financial forecasting and reporting. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
