We are looking for a Prep Technician, where you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will ideally be a Level 2 minimum Vehicle Technician or have previous PDI or Prep Technician experience. The Job: Vehicle Prep Technician / PDI Technician Service and repair all vehicles focusing on brakes, tyres, suspensions ect. Report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified Make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation Complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment Undertake vehicle road tests when necessary Working to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times Responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles.
