We are currently working for a Worthing based contractors, and we are looking for a number of skilled groundworkers working in gangs in Worthing town centre.
Your new company is a specialist ground works and civil engineering contractor that has been awarded a project in Lancing, West Sussex to refurbish, upgrade and re-instate elements of the public highway for a large utility service provider.
Your new role would be to manage the labour, plant, materials, program and practical completion on site through daily briefings, regular reporting, risk assessments, method statements acting as number one on site.
They also deliver civil engineering projects across Sussex and Surrey on highways and utility projects within the public domain as a main contractor and subcontractor to Tier One Contractors.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.36 and up to £13.53 across selected locations within London.This role will involve travelling to stores around the region.
A full driving licence and access to a car will be necessary in this role due to the travelling.
Quality Control Inspectors required for temp-to-perm assignments at a busy manufacturing and engineering facility based in Lancing, West Sussex.
The roles will involve reading technical drawings, monitor jobs flowing through production regularly checking the quality of parts being produced, liaising with management and engineering to improve efficiency and quality, and maintaining machinery and tooling to enable safe and efficient manufacturing processes.
These are temp-to-perm assignments where you will become permanent following a successful probationary period.
