Painter & Decorator Huddersfield £27,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (Early finish on Fridays) Total Weekly Hours: 37 hours Responsibilities: Conducting damp and mould treatment across various properties in the Kirklees Area. Painting and decorating tasks as required. Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues. Keeping accurate records of work completed. Requirements: Previous experience as a painter & decorator, with knowledge of damp and mould treatment preferred. Own transport and valid driving license are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Good communication skills. I am currently recruiting for a Joiner on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Doncaster (DN5). My client are looking to employ a Joiner to work on private and authority housing within the City of Doncaster. We carry adaptation works to peoples properties, in order to make their properties more adequate for their needs. Duties of the Joiner will include: Level access shower installation Kitchen installations Door widenings and the removal and installation of internal walls. To renew/repair of gates and posts and fittings. To renew and repair of timber flooring including floor tiles, skirting boards and associated work To carry out general internal joinery duties including: renewal and repair of bath panels and frames, pipe boxing, skirting boards, curtain rails etc To carry out general external joinery duties including: renewal and repair of timber mouldings, barge boards, cladding etc To be successful in this role, you will have: Joinery experience and qualifications are essential for this role Craft apprentice trained- Willingness & ability to obtain &/or enhance qualifications &/or training for development in this post. Post apprentice experience Extensive knowledge of building trade. Well organised, enthusiastic, Flexible attitude to change, honest, accurate, polite and helpful attitude Have a valid UK driving license This post is full time 37 hours per week Monday-Friday 7.30am- 3.30pm, with a pay rate of £15.40 per hour PAYE or £19 per hour via Umbrella.
