The Wealth Planning Assistant will work proactively and resourcefully, providing support to the Wealth Planning Team. The role holder will provide support to members of the Wealth Planning team, diary management and travel arrangements, as well as administrative support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Administration support, preparing presentations & meeting preparation Assisting in producing letters Assisting in producing Presentations for meetings Filing and ensuring records are kept and organised Supporting other Business Support roles, working as a collective team to ensure the smooth operation of the firm Research on companies and individuals ahead of initial meetings to ensure team members are well prepared and producing any required presentations To assist in the production of the quarterly client reports. Person Specification / Skills Attention to detail/accuracy. Constantly to keep up to date and remain informed about all Company related events. To keep the Head of Wealth Planning, and other members of the team, regularly informed on how tasks are progressing Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail First-rate written and verbal communication skill Excellent typing skills- Good computer literacy, speed and accuracy are essential Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to prioritise work appropriately and juggling busy workload Knowledge (Qualifications and Experience) Strong previous experience in a similar role Essential experience within a Wealth Planning/Financial Planning firm or function Demonstrated knowledge and high level skill/efficiency in the production of documents which includes writing skills, documentation creation, editing, formatting, presentations, mailing, templating and filing Familiarity with various life/pension/investment providers Conversant with platform providers e.g., Transact, Nucleus

Prepare design and planning briefs, tender packages and commission works being undertaken by external consultants in the preparation of planning applications , having regard to planning budgets Prepare, submit and monitor a range of different planning application types from pre-application to determination to obtain positive consents, including the preparation of supporting planning documentation where necessary Participate in discussions with all relevant bodies and Local Planning Authorities, in conjunction with external project teams, and engage with the public and relevant stakeholders Assist the Land Department in the preparation of planning appraisals for new land opportunities Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Land Department in conjunction with the other land personnel Assist with an effective handover to the regional business following the grant of planning permission to ensure a smooth and efficient site start is achieved for each development Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us...
