This North London Authority are looking for a Planning Officer.
Details of the role are:
To assess all types of planning and associated applications including site visit (generally unaccompanied), consultation, negotiation written report and recommendation to agreed timescales, including responsibility for major development proposals.
Our client is a local authority based in London and they require a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team.
Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload which will include minors, complex minor and some small major planning applications.
On a daily basis you will be completing reports, carrying out site visits where required and representing the Council at committee.

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a Wiltshire based public sector organisation, to appoint an interim Senior Panning Officer to the busy Development Management team.
The team is responsible for determining between 6000 - 8000 planning applications each year, with accountability for the performance of these applications.
As a Senior level appointment, you will not have full management responsibility however will be required to monitor the quality and quantity of the work of others & provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues to ensure whole team achievements are met.
