Our client require an experienced and DV Cleared P6 (Primavera) and or MS Projects Planner, to support by providing key control and governance expertise.
Your primary focus would include the facilitation of planning workshops, schedule analysis, and maintenance on behalf of the schedule owner.

The Planning Officer will be responsible for the processing of Development Management matters within an area based or function based team including responsibility for the handling of pre-application advice, planning applications, conditions, appeals and, when required, enforcement including negotiations with developers and other interested parties, securing financial and other community benefits through legal agreements.
The Planning Officer will ensure, in conjunction with colleagues, that statutory and legal obligations are delivered and communicated in a customer-focussed manner, optimising available resources.
The Planning Officer will be accountable to the Team Leader Development Management & Enforcement or the Major Applications Team Leader for achieving agreed Service outcomes and personal appraisal targets which uphold the Council's Core Values and meet the challenges of best practice.
Process and determine a caseload of all aspects of planning related applications, appeals, discharge of conditions and all other post-decision matters; undertaking all necessary site inspections; preparing reports and recommendations for applications that are to be determined under powers delegated to the Strategic Director, Head of Service and Development Management Manager and for applications to be considered and determined by the Planning Committee;.
The post holder will provide a complete Project Management/Delivery Service from inception to completion, working with in-house colleagues, contractors, surveyors, and consultants on multiple projects ranging in value from £10k to more than £500k.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a diverse and challenging range of planned maintenance projects across our villages and schemes nation-wide.
The projects will be focussed on refurbishment, major repairs, alterations, building safety works, as well as managing works to ensure we achieve our goal for ensuring we meet our carbon net-zero target.
Responsible for managing the successful delivery of a range of development projects in a timely and effective manner to achieve the council's objective of using redevelopment to benefit the community and improve council services.
