A social housing contractor based in Leicestershire are looking for an experienced scheduler/planner to join their repairs and maintenance team across a new project/contract that is due to start in the middle of September.
This client are a national social housing contractor who work across planned and reactive maintenance and repairs works across the UK and they work alongside local authorities, housing associations and councils to deliver high levels of customer service for both their internal and external stakeholders.
This role will involve
Schedule works into diaries for up to 20 operatives daily ensuring diaries are full and immediate attention is given to allocate work to operatives when they become free.
Liaise with the Regional Managing Estimator to ensure timeframes are achieved for the technical and commercial elements of bids.
The Opportunity
To lead on bids, predominantly in the East Midlands, taking responsibility for the projects from inception (PQQ or project identification) to preferred contractor and/or starting on site.
Duties
Reporting to the Regional Preconstruction Director to ensure all work winning and preconstruction requirements are met across the Midlands region.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel would be a distinct advantage.
You will be customer focused with strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with our highly valued customers.
