Our client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. You will work as part of the logistics team to support with the efficient, accurate fulfillment and execution of stock movement globally. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Logistics Supervisor, operating across the logistics function supporting all areas of inbound, stock management and outbound flow of goods aligned to customer demand and commercial requirements. Involved in operational activities across the groups third party logistics and supplier network including freight, warehousing and haulage partners along with all related internal and external processes of the logistics function. This will be a dynamic role working closely with the inbound and outbound logistics coordinators, as well as wider Supply Chain teams globally to ensure smooth flow of goods from supplier to customer. This role is Hybrid (with accessibility to the Christchurch office as required). Hours - 37.5 per wee Main Responsibilities Working across the logistics function to support all areas in line with business demands Inbound Logistics support of ocean freight booking process from suppliers in Asia & Europe Handling and processing of shipping paperwork, shipment tracking and goods receipting Processing of customer sales orders and delivery paperwork to facilitate outbound flow of goods from warehouse, following up on any variances that may arise during picking or post delivery. Requesting samples from warehouse Processing of stock movements within the SAP database Ongoing maintenance of SAP stock accuracy and investigating discrepancies that may arise. Reporting on perpetual inventory results, stock discrepancies and damage stock weekly Updating of reports to monitor daily and weekly operational activity Point of contact for warehouse stock integrity queries for follow up with third party providers to understand issue, seek resolution and close out, ensuring stock records aligned. Returns management Monitoring of logistic team mailbox Visits to warehouses to support with reviews, physical stock counting/audit activity when required. Prioritise operations and daily tasks as required in line with business demand Help with development and maintenance of logistics processes through process mapping and work instructions, considering environment, quality, customer satisfaction, cost and efficiency. Build partner relationships and establish your own key network of contacts with our partners. Proactive, promoting an attitude of innovation, pace and intrinsic positivity. Actively seek to improve skills and logistics knowledge base, via training, site visits and knowledge sharing.
