Based in Hull, our client employs c150 dedicated professionals, they are a business which prides itself on innovation, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence and customer service. This Plant Manager, reports directly into the Managing Director and will take the lead in managing all manufacturing operations. We are keen to speak with people that have a proven track record in managing medium to high-volume production environments whilst overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production goals, standards of quality, and a culture of continuous improvement is executed. Duties & Responsibilities for this Plant Manager will include but are not limited to: Oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and budgetary goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 150 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production processes. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to support production needs. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and high satisfaction levels. Prepare and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have the following skills and experience: Degree qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree highly desired). Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plant management within a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
