JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design 12 Months initial contract Remote (Once a quarter in Maidenhead) Inside IR35 My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit a JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design to join their team on a contract basis. Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE. The JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design is responsible for the development build of scalable, robust visualisation products which serve our commercial business. The JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design will work to specifications drawn up by a Data Analyst, in-turn go on to build prototypes/wireframes and ultimately working solutions which easily be interpreted by audiences across the business.?The JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design will be aligned to the specification and pre-release validation of innovative solutions for the business, as well as curious around existing or new potential data sources which could be integrated into our data products.? Key Responsibilities for the JavaScript & ReactJS Developer for UX Delivery & Design: COLLABORATION Establish and maintain a consistent approach to collaboration, entrenched in trusted working relationships. Collaborative and consultative approach, broad and timely engagement with key stakeholders (business analysts, data analysts, data engineers, UX/UI leads, and end business users) throughout. Consultative approach to specification reviews that focus on the critical data paths, endlessly grounded in the practicalities of our data, business logic and 'why'. Knowing when to challenge and drive innovation and when to balance and seek sustainability. Deep knowledge of data structures, associative data modelling, and business personas, in context of how those data solutions will be leveraged by data pipelines, data technologies and end business use cases. Drive usability studies and communities of feedback with end user audiences. DEVELOPING TO DESIGN PRINCIPALS Build best in class business analytics solutions that embrace an ease of data interpretation and insight. Leveraging agreed design principles throughout, embracing consistency, and shaping those principals in conjunction with UX/UI leads to ensure delivery of best-in-class visualisations which serve the business need. Fast iteration builds of feasibility prototypes, considered for specific data features or elements. Consistent and structured approach to development, ensuring high quality deliverables. Proactive approach to continuous improvement of analytical solutions. DATA GOVERNANCE AND QUALITY Clear prioritisation of most impactful business innovations. Evidence based data validation resulting from data engineering impacts. Data query and complaints management, alongside a stewardship mindset in context of enterprise business. A contributor towards our endeavor data lifecycle management. DATA Gains and maintains an intimate understanding of our data, the workflows of that data, as too its limitations. Facilitates a critical mass of data literacy throughout the business, encouraging that capability wherever possible. Pushes for the realisation of better business questions (at the point of request). Qualifications Experience of web development in JavaScript, ReactJS (HTML / CSS experience advantageous) Experience of wireframe/prototype mythologies and platforms (Sketch, Figma etc) Experience of Python/PySpark or other coding experience. Relevant experience in working within a complex, demanding UX/UI developer/designer environment. Relevant experience JIRA and/or Agile working model methodology. Relevant experience of Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical commercial enterprise is advantageous. Description Virtual Host (Zoom & Teams Technical issues): You will support two or three training sessions at any one time, your role will be to ensure they run smoothly and that you assist with all issues with Teams and Zoom. You are NOT the trainer, you are the virtual host ensuring the paying customers do not have simple on line issues. Queries might include: Turn microphone on and off Turn camera on and off Sharing screen Taking control of some one else screen Sharing documents. Setting up and returning from break out groups Please Note: this is a role where you will have circa 3.5 days a week of work across 5 days. Profile Virtual Host (Zoom & Teams), work from home: You will have the IT skills and confidence to do the following. You are also likely to be looking for flexibility as this role is a job that will provide circa three and a half days a week of employment. The client advanced releases schedules of when they need help and you need to confirm you wish to cover the booking. You will support two or three training sessions at any one time, your role will be to ensure they run smoothly and that you assist with all issues with Teams and Zoom. You are NOT the trainer, you are the virtual host ensuring the paying customers do not have simple on line issues. You need excellent WI-FI at home and also a Laptop. Job Offer Virtual Host (Zoom & Teams), work from home: Circa £80/£85 per day, paid in half day allocations depending upon how many sessions you are covering.
